Season Ends in Loss
Permian scored on their first two possessions and set the tone for what was to be in the 52-16 loss.  The Panthers took the opening kickoff, capped off by a Taylor Byrd quarterback sneak.  He threw for two touchdowns, and ran for 92 yards as well in the first half.
