   Lions Handed 20-0 Shutout
Kelly Page passed for one TD and rushed for another to spark Mesquite to a 20-0 win over John Tyler in the District 12-5A opener.  The back-breaking drive started with a 7-yard scramble by Page, who then made completions of 17 and 9 yards. After a 15-yard personal foul penalty on JT, Page connected with Adrian Richards for a 47-yard touchdown on a go-route down the visitors' sideline.  The Skeeters scored two more times on a pair of field goals by Bradlee Baladez, from 40 and 39 yards, and completed the shutout.
