Lee finished with 178 rushing yards, but Lubbock
Coronado racked up 218 yards on the ground in a 44-28 win over the
Rebels in the second round of the Class
5A playoffs. Lee had to settle with trailing 17-13 at the
intermission. The Rebels took the lead
when Corey Petro scored on a five-yard touchdown run with 25 seconds
left in the third quarter. Fourteen seconds later, Kholbye Walker
returned Lee's kickoff 86 yards for a touchdown, making the score 31-21.
From there, the Mustangs never let the Rebels back in the game.
