As had been the case throughout the season, penalties and turnovers hurt the Cougars in their 17-13 loss to Mansfield Timberview.  Cooper lost two fumbles in the red zone to start the second half and never seemed to recover.  Timberview struck first from 26 yards out.  Cooper answered on its next possession with its only touchdown of the game when Will Casey hit Timmy Dixon from 27 yards out.  Cooper took its only lead of the day at 10-7 when kicker Isaac Escobedo connected from 31 yards out with 6:18 left in the first half.  Cooper answered with another field goal but was unable to muster much more offense the rest of the way.
